OPUS KLASSIK is the new prize for classical music in Germany. The promotion of classical music and especially the awarding of prizes to its artists is the aim of the Verein zur Förderung der Klassischen Musik e. V., the organiser of the most important German classical music prize. An expert jury, composed of representatives of the music and media industry, awards 47 prize winners in 25 categories.
A total of 450 nominees have qualified for the OPUS KLASSIK 2020 this year! The 2020 prize winners will be selected by the nine-member jury and announced in autumn 2020. The OPUS KLASSIK 2020 will then be awarded on 18 October 2020 in the Konzerthaus Berlin.
